Why is Mandolorian wasting time?

Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Mandalorian season 2 episode 2.

The Mandalorian has now given us possibly one of the most boring and done to death starwars story with its season 2 episode 2 — Chapter 10: The Passenger.

It Almost feels like that the writers are coming short of ideas and can’t tthink beyound a mercenary taking up private jobs and fighting monsters against all odds. There us almost nothing in terms of character development or the larger plot development in this latest instalment.

So what so boring about the this episode?

Its the story. Mando is still looking for his kind and is now asked to transport a frog lady (carrying eggs) to meet her husband to the next system at sub light speed. Mando is intercepted by x-wing of ‘New Republic’ and identified as the culprit who ‘rescued’ a criminal from a prison ship.

What happens next lack any imagination at all. Mando crash lands on an icy planet, encounters spiders of various shapes, including a mega monster and is almost annihilated until saved by boys in orange who chased him in the first place.

Last week we saw Mando making it out of the belly of a dragon beast direct out of Tremors, this week another redux of Arachanid movies (including one Harry Potter).

It is unimaginative, without any thrill and the drama never connects.

Can it get any better?

We really do not think so. Mando will for sure take up yet another freelancer job – get to yet another part of galaxy and at best you will have Baby Yoda using his power and doze off – Again!

If you think our lack of confidence in the series is unfounded – we would recommend you to read this piece – again.
