Modi urges MPs to eliminate fear from minorities
In his first address to the newly elected Member of Parliaments (MPs) at Parliament Central Hall, Modi asked the 353 members of NDA members to win the trust of minorities and work without discriminating against anyone. He said that minorities have always been cheated by the Opposition for generations. He also mentioned that minorities have always been made to live in imaginary fear and this needs to be changed soon.
Modi quoted, “Our mantra should be ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas And Sabka Vishwas’ (with all, for everybody’s development and having everyone’s trust). They (minorities) cannot be handed over to them (opposition), who benefit because we keep quiet. We have to break through this deception. We have to win their trust. It is a big responsibility that we have to fulfil. Those who vote us are ours and those who did not are also ours. Even our most trenchant opponents are ours. We cannot believe in any discrimination.”
