In the year of Covid-19 that seems to be a Hollywood script itself, the productions from the the Tinsel Town have been hit hard. Among others is the Keanu Reeves, Priyanka Chopra starer Matrix 4 which has already moved its release date to April 2022 from a tentative date of Jun 2021.
Now there is some good news. Reports suggest that as of last month the shooting to the much awaited sequel has already resumed in Germany.
Keanu Reeves along with his costar and on-screen lover, Carrie-Anne Moss, were both spotted recently spotted in Berlin. TMZ released a series of pics related to the subject.
The film was officially announced by Warner Brothers on August 20, 2019 with Reeves and Moss confirmed to reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity. Lana Wachowski was announced to be the director of the fourth instalment of the saga, working on a script written by Wachowski, Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell.
In Feb 2020, it was further announced that both Priyanka Chopra and Lambert Wilson will be part of the project. The production finally began on Feb 4, 2020 before being abruptly halted on March 16 as Covid-19 graduated to a pandemic.
While the Warner house has remained tight lipped on the project, last yaer it did release a 20 year anniversary trailer of the entire franchise
